چکیده

Scheduling production is an important decision issue in the manufacturing domain. With advent of era Industry 4.0, basic generation schedules becomes no longer sufficient to face new constraints flexibility and agility that characterize architecture systems. In this context, must take into account increasingly disrupted environment while maintaining a good performance level. This paper contributes identified field smart scheduling by proposing complete process for assessing robustness schedule solutions: i.e., its ability resist uncertainties. focuses on helping maker choosing best strategy be implemented. Semidefinite programming for robustness analysis of structures under large uncertainties

A numerically tractable algorithm based on the semidefinite program (SDP) is proposed for computing a lower bound of the robustness function of structures under non-probabilistic load and structural uncertainties. By using the robustness function, we define a robust structural optimization problem which attempts to maximize the robustness function. A sequential SDP method is proposed to solve t...

A Cooperative Approach for Job Shop Scheduling under Uncertainties

This paper focuses on job shop scheduling problems in a cooperative environment. Unlike classical deterministic approaches, we assume that jobs are not known in advance but occur randomly during the production process, as orders appear. Therefore, the production schedule is adapted in a reactive manner all along the production process. These schedule adaptations are made according to a cooperat...

Improved robustness of multivariable model predictive control under model uncertainties

This paper presents a state-space methodology for enhancing the robustness of multivariable MPC controlled systems through the convex optimization of a multivariable Youla parameter. The procedure starts with the design of an initial stabilizing Model Predictive Controller in the state-space representation, which is then robustified under modeling errors considered as unstructured uncertainties...

Proactive approach to address robust batch process scheduling under short-term uncertainties

A contribution is made in the area of proactive scheduling with the aim to properly define the scheduling problem explicitly incorporating the effects of short-term uncertainties. The idea is to identify a robust initial schedule with the flexibility to react to unexpected events with minimum effects. The problem is modelled using a stochastic optimization approach where not only a set of antic...

Integration of Production Scheduling and Model Predictive Control under Process Uncertainties

In order to achieve optimal operational conditions, the integration of decision-making across different layers of a company and the consideration of uncertain parameters in view of dynamic market conditions are essential. In this study, we propose a framework for the integration of scheduling and control for nonlinear systems under process uncertainties. The framework includes the use of piecew...
